Warts On Dogs Tail By Butt Male Rat: Sinister Health Problem?

Male Rat: Sinister health problem? - warts on dogs tail by butt

Hello, I have 3 male rats. One of them had a wart on the base of his tail for several months. At his first appearance, took me to the vets. She said he seemed to fear nothing back but if it grows. Well ... is much larger and now a part of it has been black. If the nipple hits the tail, there is a black spot on the tail itself. In addition, he suffered a kind of skin complaint, it had climbed back, and orange, I managed to regularly clean by bathing and apply tea tree cream. This skin is back to normal, but then his bald head is more sensitive! It is a double rex and only rarely bald. However, I wonder if this has to do to growth in online? So, 2 things: it creates a really strong fishy smell and seems to have lost weight (even if his appetite has has not changed). When was the last consideration of the vet was was 800grams. They do not know what it is now, but not in a pudding as it was. He is 19 months.
I knoww What do you think: Take him to the vets. And I intend to do tomorrow morning first. I am just very concerned about this and I think they just want answers now: (
Please help if you can. It is a charming boy. It's like a puppy!
Thank you very much

So, first, that the orange on the skin? This is called the silver grease - it's a hormonal thing. It is natural for men to produce it. Do not use tea tree in it, and honestly, just go to the tea-tree - rats have sensitive skin and it might irritate.

When fat aggravated Baden help alleviate the money that - once a month, should be how often, if at all possible - the more often and can dry out your skin. Another option to stop the production of oil money to be neutral to him.

The smell can get fat Buck - Fat more money, smelling rats.

To lose weight, you can more than usual. Do not be too much weight when the weight loss is dramatic, or ceases to be like himself again. The rats lost weight, and with the age of 18 months is a little more.

In view of the hump at the rear, could be a wart or a tumor or abscess. It's really the only question that eitherFA concerned that the rest is normal (I hope that your calm brings a little!).

It is best to see the vet and be treated accordingly. Is it a tumor or an option to remove the wart, but it is not unusual for growth, after they return eliminated in rats. If it is an abscess that the vet it may be placed on antibiotics and drainage if necessary, or delete them. The black spot may simply be an accumulation of dirt, rats often neglect the cleanliness of its tail. Just keep in mind, until I can do it in vet care you receive for signs of a change in behavior will be, injuries, etc. - if it occurs, run at the nomination.

The sticky should be fine though! :)

Good luck!

I think it is an abscess. The description sounds like it. And abscesses are usually a foul odor. Unfortunately, your rat is probably a lot of pain.

How long has it been since you last brought him to the vet? Untreated abscesses can be fatal.

If growth turns black and I'm sorry to say that most likely cancer. I hope it is treatable, and if the vet can quickly passed.
